Scholarship Fund Accepting Applications from Ramsey Residents Only
The Edward C. Syder Foundation has given away $370,000 in scholarship money to Ramsey residents.

Applications for the Edward C. Syder Scholarships for the 2014 school year are open. Applicants must be residents of Ramsey and have completed their freshman year of college.
This is the twenty-first year scholarships will be granted to qualified individuals. The Foundation has awarded over $370,000.00 in scholarship funds over the past twenty years.
The winners for the year 2013 were:
- Chris Devine, Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts
- Erin Karpovich, High Point University, High Point, North Carolina
- Jade Nicholson, Yale University, New Haven, Connecticut
- David Sroczynski, Cornell University, Ithaca, New York
All college or graduated students who are current residents of Ramsey and meet the academic and service criteria are invited to write the Edward C. Syder Scholarship Committee, P.O. Box 729, Ramsey, New Jersey 07446 or email: Syderscholarship@gmail.com for an application.
Application forms must be completed by November 19, 2013. There will be no extension of time. The scholarship awards will be announced by December 17, 2013 and will be granted for the 2014 Spring Term.
