RED BANK, NJ — If you're a fan of the "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" show, you might have noticed a local Red Bank family appeared on it this week.

DeGeneres chose to feature the local family because all three siblings — Josevic, 7, Serali, 4, and LeOmar, 2 — share the exact same birthday, Nov. 30. Their parents are Janette and Raul Lopez and they live in Red Bank. The family was interviewed earlier this year by News 12 New Jersey's Brian Donohue, and the kids told him they they were dying to be recognized by Ellen for their odd triple birthday coincidence.

DeGeneres apparently saw the News 12 clip and sent her receptionist to pay the family a surprise visit on Monday, Martin Luther King Day.

"Every night before I go to bed, I do the same thing," joked Ellen on her show Monday. "I watch the local news from Red Bank, New Jersey."

"It was not planned," said mom Janette of her kids' three birthdays. "They had completely different due dates ... But you know what, thinking back, I think they were all a product of Valentine's Day. We no longer celebrate Valentine's Day. It's completely gone," she said, to much laughter from Ellen and the audience.

Janette also said the family was upon hard times lately, and had moved back in with her parents. "Christmas was fine," she said. "I know these kids, if I had wrapped a box of cereal, they would have been grateful with that."

When Ellen heard that, she said she was giving the children 12 belated Christmas gifts as part of her 12 Days of Giveaways. Those gifts include a five-year Netflix subscription, Amazon gift cards, Walmart gift cards and round-trip airfare for the whole family on JetBlue. The family will be going to Jamaica and Mexico later this year.

The children were so happy that the two oldest started crying. Watch for yourself:
