As the winter season approaches, there are plenty of new things happening around Monmouth County for you to enjoy.

2nd Annual Red Bank Community Day
From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, you can enjoy free snacks, refreshments, activities and entertainment at Red Bank’s second annual Mayor’s Wellness Campaign Community Day.
Local organizations such as Lunch Break, Aetna Health Partners and the T. Thomas Fortune Cultural Center will be in attendance at the event as well.

The event will take place in the gymnasium of Red Bank Middle School.
Turkey Derby Smash
Enjoy free corn hole, a bounce house, a hatchet throwing trailer, and more at the Wall Stadium Speedway Turkey Derby Smash on Saturday and Sunday.
The pit area will open at 9 a.m. and grandstands open at 11 a.m.

Thanksgiving Wine Tasting & Sale
Join a River Pointe Inn sommelier for a walk around wine tasting and stock up on your favorite wines for Thanksgiving on Saturday. All wines will be available to purchase at the event.
The event will take place from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. and from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Elf the Musical
Looking for some holiday magic? From now through Nov. 24, you can see Elf the Musical at the Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre on the Basie Center Campus.

Fall Holiday Market
Ready to start holiday shopping? Check out Marlboro’s annual Fall Holiday Market on Sunday, which will host various farmer’s market vendors, artisans, crafters and more.
The market will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday.
