Alleged Sex Offender Appears in Court

A Red Bank man appeared before a Monmouth County Superior Court judge Monday on charges he an unidentified woman in his Locust Avenue apartment late last week.

say Eufronio Currillo-Gonzalez committed the act of sexual penetration by means of physical force. Specifically, police said the 32 year old held down his victim during intercourse after being told to stop.

Currillo-Gonzalez was also charged with simple assault against CR (ed’s note: Patch has declined to publish the name of the alleged assault victim who is presumed to be the same victim of alleged sexual assault) after he allegedly pulled on her hooded sweatshirt resulting in the zipper causing superficial cuts to her neck.

Currillo-Gonzalez was ordered held at Monmouth County Correctional Institution in Freehold on $50,000 bail with no 10 percent option.
