Riverview Medical Center Auxiliary looking for members

Riverview Medical Center Auxiliary was established in 1929 and played an integral role in the founding of the present day Riverview Medical Center. Since 1962, the auxiliary has provided more than $2 million in funding for hospital projects and services including the purchase of blood pressure/oxymeter machines, CyberKnife® suite sound system and private dressing rooms in the radiation oncology treatment area.

In addition to its fundraising activities, the Auxiliary owns and operates the George C. White Gift Shop, open 7 days a week and located on the ground floor of the Marshall Booker Pavilion at Riverview. All profits fund programs and technology in the Jane H. and John Marshall Booker Cancer Center.

The Auxiliary got creative last fall, partnering with The Plein Air Painters of the Jersey Coast, for its first art show entitled "River Views". This event was so successful the second show has already been scheduled.
