An Atrium Rises in Red Bank [Gallery]

Work on the expansion of has reached an unofficial halfway point on its 18-month construction plan.

Springpoint Senior Living broke ground on the new six-story, and work began shortly there after. It wasn't until the past couple of months or so that that $35 million project began to take on appearance of what it will eventually become.

The complex, its units sold well before work even began, is expected to be completed, Springpoint officials hope, by the end of the year. Check out the gallery above for a look at the work in progress.
