Ceremonies For New Shrewsbury Police Hire, Police Promotions

Shrewsbury Borough Council holds ceremonies for swearing in of a new police officer, promotions for three other officers.

SHREWSBURY, NJ — The Shrewsbury Borough Council this week had ceremonies to swear in the Police Department's newest officer and to promote three leaders of the department.

According to Lt. Adam Cerminaro , the Police Department promotions are:

  • Lt. Tracy Polk
  • Sgt. Mary Ellen Rumola
  • Sgt. Dan DeCristofaro

"It was an absolute privilege to administer the oath of office to these four incredible and dedicated individuals," said Mayor Erik Anderson.

Monmouth County Sheriff Shaun Golden and Assemblywoman Kim Doran Eulner, R-11th District, joined the council for the event, as did Police Chief Robert Turner.

"Finally, a big thank you to the men and women of the Shrewsbury Police Department for all they do to keep our community safe day in and day out," Anderson said.
