Sediment Disturbance Caused Discolored Water In Red Bank Friday
Red Bank advises eastside customers with discolored water in the area served by Red Bank Water Co. to run all faucets for five minutes.
RED BANK, NJ — The borough has identified the cause of discolored water earlier Friday as sediment disturbed in the distribution system, it announced.
On Friday morning, customers complained of discolored water on the east side of town and in a small area of Fair Haven served by Red Bank Water, the borough said in an alert.
Residents now are advised to run water from all faucets in their home for approximately five minutes until the water runs clear.
