Fall Hydrant Flushing To Impact Red Bank, Fair Haven & Little Silver
Hydrant flushing is scheduled to begin at 9 p.m. on Sunday, officials said.
RED BANK, NJ — Fall hydrant flushing is scheduled to begin on Sunday in Red Bank, borough officials said.
The annual program involves opening fire hydrant valves throughout the area to let water flow through the pipes.
By flushing hydrants, officials said the process enhances water quality, verifies the operation of hydrants and valves, and ensures hydrants are fully operational in case of an emergency.
