Red Bank Garage Fire Fueled By Waste, Cops Say
There were no injuries and no residents were affected as it was a detached garage, police said.
RED BANK, NJ — A fire broke out in a garage in Red Bank late on Sunday going into Monday, according to the Red Bank Fire Department.
The fire was reported around 2:30 a.m. at a house on Clifford Place.
There were no injuries and no residents were affected as it was a detached garage, Red Bank Police Chief Darren McConnell said.

The fire was put under control in about 20 minutes.
The cause appears to be improperly discarded embers from a firepit, McConnell said.
