Kids Rock at Riverview [Gallery]

On Saturday, children from the Greater Red Bank area were treated to a day of fun and education at 's annual Kids Rock! event.

Tom Paolella, the Red Bank hospital's public relations manager, said the event attracted approximately 300 people, the most it's ever seen. Children were able to participate in hands-on activities like a laparoscopic surgery conducted on gummy bears, and Drums Alive, a fitness and brain exercise program offered by the Meridian Fitness and Wellness Center in Hazlet that combines physical fitness and the brain affected benefits of music and rhythm.
