The Shrewsbury Parent Teacher Group hosted its annual Spring Gala this weekend, an event attended by hundreds having fun and raising money to help fund activities for the .

In addition to dancing, music by the Connolly Brothers, a silent auction, and a western theme and food, the star attraction of the night might have been the mechanical bull, a bucking headless and legless stead capable of humbling many a cowboy.
