Inclusive Playground Proposed For Marine Park In Red Bank

RED BANK, NJ — Red Bank is seeking feedback on plans for an inclusive playground at Marine Park.

On Jan. 23, the borough will host a public meeting at 6:30 p.m. where the public can learn more about the project, ask questions, or provide comments.

The borough has applied for playground funding through Jake’s Law, which was passed in 2019 and encourages counties to build completely inclusive playgrounds.

Plans for the project aim to ensure that children of all abilities can play, connect and thrive, officials said.

The meeting will take place at 90 Monmouth Street, Red Bank on Jan. 23. Written comments on the proposed application can be sent to Borough Clerk Mary Moss at mmoss@redbanknj.org.
