Kick Dance Students to Open for Popular KIDZ BOP Kids Performance at Count Basie Theatre

Kick Dance Studios dancers will perform three award-winning routines for the popular kid's show

Kick Dance Studios dancers have been chosen as the opening act for the popular KIDZ BOP Kids show at Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank. KIDZ BOP Kids are the face and voice of KIDZ BOP, the number one music brand for children, and tour across the United States performing kid-friendly versions of today’s biggest hits. The performance will take place at 3 p.m., Nov. 8, 2015.

KIDZ BOP Kids appeals to both children and parents, with family-friendly lyrics of modern and contemporary songs. Parents don’t have to worry about their kids hearing inappropriate language, and children get to listen to the songs performed by kids just like them.

Kick Dance is a studio that prides itself on age-appropriate music and age-appropriate costumes, believing in preserving childhood and being positive role models. Kick Dance Studios teaches model modesty, teamwork and positive body image. Dancers have worked hard on their performances as a team and this is a major reason they were selected to open the show.

“I think the teamwork among these kids really shows on stage and is a big reason why they were selected,” said Vanessa. “It is a wonderful experience to open for a professional show and they could not be happier than when they perform together.”

Kick dancers will be performing three numbers for the KIDZ BOP Kids show. The three performances have proven to be a big hit with crowds, and took home awards at a national dance competition. The dance number “I Wanna Be a Rockette” took home third place, “Orphans” received second overall, and “Give Him a Great Big Kiss” placed first overall. These numbers are high energy and the perfect fit for KIDZ BOP Kids.
