Last Chance: Tibetan Buddhist Performance

Final performance and educational opportunity being held tonight from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The Red Bank Holistic Learning Center is hosting the Gajang Tsawa Monks for the last time tonight as part of their World Peace Tour. The Tsawa Monks are a group from Gaden Jangste Monastery in south India, according to a release, and are in the United States to raise awareness about Tibetan Buddhism and its culture.

Visitors will have the chance to learn about unique Tibetan Buddhist traditions through performances of ritual ceremonies, monastic dances and arts, mandala making and teachings of Buddhist philosophies and practices.

They seek to promote harmony and peace amongst all people and within each person, and to encourage the cultivation of compassion and kindness towards all living beings through the sharing with others of out ancient and vibrant Tibetan Buddhist traditions.
