Learn About Money-Saving Deals At Three Monmouth-Area YMCAs
The YMCA of Greater Monmouth County will host free open houses in Red Bank, Freehold and Old Bridge on Jan. 20, with incentives to join.

MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ — The YMCA of Greater Monmouth County is welcoming the new year with an open house on Jan. 20 at its three locations to showcase enhanced wellness centers and its many wellness programs for all ages.
The open houses are scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

- Red Bank Family YMCA, 166 Maple Ave., Red Bank.
- Freehold Family YMCA, 470 E. Freehold Road, Freehold.
- Old Bridge Family YMCA, 1 Mannino Park Drive, Old Bridge.
They are free to attend and open to all.
Guests will be able to “try the Y and experience our supportive community,” said President and CEO Laurie Goganzer.

“Everyone is welcome to enjoy family activities, try our classes, see our recent facility enhancements, including equipment upgrades, and most importantly, learn about the many ways we nurture the potential of people of all ages, incomes and backgrounds,” Goganzer said.
In March, the nonprofit will mark its milestone 150th anniversary of strengthening generations of families across greater Monmouth County, Goganzer added.
Membership deals
The Y is offering a membership special for the new year at the open house.
Anyone who joins during the open house will receive the month of February free, plus the joiner free will be waived, the organization said.

More information about membership and all Y programs, including summer camps, child care, swim lessons and mental health resources that strengthen community will be available at the open houses. All those who attend are invited to enter a drawing for a complimentary three-month family membership.

Over the past five years, the YMCA of Greater Monmouth County, based in Shrewsbury, has provided more than $5 million in financial assistance and subsidies to Y participants throughout greater Monmouth County, the organization says.
Its programs and services are anchored in eight communities: health and wellness facilities in Freehold Township, Old Bridge and Red Bank; an outdoor day camp in Wall; counseling and social service centers in Eatontown, Matawan and Middletown; a childcare center in Freehold Township; and integrated in over 100 schools in Monmouth and Ocean counties.
