RED BANK, NJ — Bolus Brzezinski, a project manager for Denholtz Properties of Red Bank, has been named to the NJBIZ 2023 Leaders in Real Estate, Construction and Design list, primarily citing his work on The Commissary at the former Fort Monmouth.

Denholtz is a commercial real estate investment and development firm.

Each year, the NJBIZ awards recognize individuals and companies making an impact on New Jersey’s commercial real estate landscape through development, design, construction and project management, the company said.

And the Denholtz Properties professional was among those awarded.

“I am honored to be recognized on this year’s list alongside many of New Jersey’s top commercial real estate professionals,” said Brzezinski.

Brzezinski joined the Denholtz Properties team in 2022 and will "continue to play a large role as the company grows its development pipeline over the next several years," the company said.

“It's a privilege to have a lead role in executing Denholtz Properties’ transformative development work, and I look forward to helping our team continue to bring new spaces to life,” Brzezinski added.

As project manager, Brzezinski oversees all aspects of construction for the firm’s portfolio of multifamily, industrial/flex and office properties.

Highlighting Brzezinski’s work is The Commissary at Baseline project, the former commissary at the decommissioned Fort Monmouth Army base in Oceanport.

"Brzezinski’s creativity helped transform the building into a new space geared towards unique food and beverage concepts," the company said. The building is now at full occupancy and is home to tenants MGT Foods, Birdsmouth Beer and Baseline Social.

Today, The Commissary at Baseline is one of Denholtz Properties’ "flagship assets." the company noted.

The Commissary at Fort Monmouth is the primary project Brzezinski is being cited for in the NJBIZ list, the company said, but he also has led Denholtz Properties' development project The Rail at Bound Brook, a 143-unit transit-oriented multifamily community.

Locally, Denholtz has also developed The Rail at Red Bank. The Rail is a 57-unit apartment complex with 6,000 square feet of retail space on the ground level.

Brzezinski graduated from Rutgers University with a master's degree in civil engineering. He has more than 15 years of experience in project management of general building, retail and transit system construction, Denholtz said.

Nominations for the award were submitted through an open process and then evaluated by an independent panel of judges to determine the list of 2023 honorees.

Denholtz Properties is based in Red Bank, with a regional headquarters in Orlando, Fla., specializing in the acquisition and development of ground-up multifamily, industrial/flex and office properties.
