A Red Bank man has been indicted by a Monmouth County grand jury on cocaine possession charges stemming from an April 7 incident.

Prince R. Johnson, 24, of 80 West Westside Ave., was allegedly found to be in possession of cocaine on that date. He was arrested by Red Bank police and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, according to the indictment.

According to the Red Bank police report, Johnson was arrested in the area of Montgomery Terrace, which is within 500 feet of a park or public housing. Neither the report nor the indictment mentioned the amount of cocaine allegedly found in Johnson's possession.

The possession charge is a third-degree offense, the indictment added.
