See Jack-O-Lanterns On Display At Red Bank Jack-O-Lantern Drop

Red Bank Parks & Recreation and Red Bank RiverCenter are teaming up for the event.

RED BANK, NJ — Red Bank Parks & Recreation is teaming up with Red Bank RiverCenter for the Borough’s first-ever Jack-O-Lantern Drop.

From 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Oct. 24, you can bring your jack-o-lantern to Riverside Gardens Park to enter the jack-o-lantern competition.

Submitted jack-o-lanterns will be on display from Oct. 24 through Oct. 31, and a panel of judges will examine each entry to determine winning submissions.

Contest winners will be announced on Oct. 30. First place will receive a $100 Red Bank Bucks digital gift card, second place will receive $75, and third place will receive $50.

Candles are not permitted for the competition, and officials recommend using a battery-powered tea light to illuminate their jack-o-lantern.

“The jack-o-lanterns are dropping by Riverside Gardens Park this October,” event officials said. “RiverCenter is proud to team with Red Bank Parks & Recreation for the first-ever Jack-O-Lantern Drop!”
