Shared Dispatch Services With Monmouth County On Shrewsbury Agenda

A special meeting of the Shrewsbury Council is planned Monday at 7 p.m. regarding a resolution for shared dispatch service with the county.

SHREWSBURY, NJ — A proposal for shared dispatch service with Monmouth County is on the agenda for a special meeting of the Shrewsbury Borough Council Monday, May 1, at 7 p.m.

There is a discussion of the matter, noting the Monmouth County Sheriff (Shaun Golden) and there is a resolution "authorizing the execution of a municipal assistance/shared services agreement with the County Of Monmouth" on the agenda.

There is also the introduction of an ordinance providing an appropriation of $500,000 for acquisition of emergency services equipment by the borough, with the issuance of$475,000 in bonds, according to the agenda.
