Prom season has gone to the dogs.
A dozen canine campers donned bow ties, boas, tiaras and tails to attend the Doggy Prom at Best Friends Pet Care on Thursday.
The canine couples walked the red carpet to the Best Friends doggy day camp room, which was decorated in a Starry Night theme with dark blue and silver streamers and stars.

There was doggy dancing under the disco ball and, just like at high school proms everywhere, a doggy prom King and Queen were crowned.
The staff, wearing prom attire too, took photos of each canine couple to send home to mom and dad.

Best Friends is hosting Doggy Proms at pet care centers across the U.S. this week.
More than 1,200 dogs are participating in the 38 events.
