Christine “Teenie” Somay, who was raised in Red Bank, died at 93 on Aug. 26. She was surrounded by loved ones in her Howell Township home.
Born in Newark and raised in Red Bank, she was a longtime Howell resident. Teenie was a homemaker who was also a life member of the Southard Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.
Teenie was predeceased by her husband, John, in 1993. She is survived by her dear family and many loving friends.
A gathering will be at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township, on Friday, Sept. 6, from 3 to 4:30 p.m., with her funeral service to follow at 4:30 p.m.
