BOE May Appoint RHS Vice Principals to 'Interim' Positions

The Ridgewood School Board is likely to appoint RHS vice principals Basil Pizzuto and Jeff Nyhuis as "interim co-principals" with the .

According to the agenda for the Monday night meeting (posted at right), both would receive an additional $2,500 in additional salary per month through June of 2012, or as needed. The board is also expected to elaborate on the upcoming steps of the search to replace Lorenz.

The school board will also put its in writing Monday night, decreeing that it believes the set of legislation is an unfunded burden and strain on its resources. The strongly worded letter will be sent to its local state and federal representatives.

Also on the agenda, officials will continue the discussion on the , which has upset neighbors of the high school.
