Is Bullying a Problem in Glen Rock Schools?
Seminar on Tuesday night will focus on the impact the state's anti-bullying laws have had in G.R.
Top district officials on Tuesday will be holding an information session for parents to discuss the impact the state Harassment, Intimidation and Bullying (HIB) laws have had on the district's students, teachers and administrators.
In October, Superintendent David Verducci , a number he found to be relatively low.
Today, bullying, harassment and intimidation is against another student. One singular incident can trigger an HIB investigation, which follows a strict and tight timeline and could result in the accused having a mark on their school file, in addition to potential suspensions and other disciplinary actions.

Many districts have reported the set of guidelines, while well-meaning, and fundamentally changed the relationship parents and students have with principals.
The meeting is being held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Glen Rock Middle School/High School auditorium and will featured a Powerpoint presentation and Q&A session. Parents of students K-12 are encouraged to attend.
