One Item Stolen During Burglary Of Glen Rock Pharmacy: Police

Someone who broke into a Glen Rock pharmacy in the wee hours of Sunday only took one item, police said.

GLEN ROCK, NJ — Someone broke into a Glen Rock pharmacy early Sunday morning and took at least one item, police said.

Police were sent to Rock Ridge Pharmacy in the Rock Road Central Business District at 5:52 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 25, police said. They found that someone had forced their way into the business through the front glass door.

According to police, "Little inside had been disturbed. When the owner arrived, a preliminary inventory determined that promethazine cough syrup had been stolen."

Crime Scene Investigators from the Bergen County Sheriff’s Department responded with local police and processed the scene.

Police said that they are investigating and also cooperating with other law enforcement agencies in the area who experienced similar pharmacy burglaries.
