Week in Review: Deaths at Arboretum, Final Suspect Arrested in Brutal Beating

A 25-year-old Paterson man is facing charges after allegedly stealing liquor bottles from Stop & Shop and jumping two stories off a balcony and bolting to escape police.

The fourth suspect accused of beating and robbing a Ridgewood man in a bizzarre altercation in Wyckoff was arrested by police and now faces robbery charges, Wyckoff police said.

Two Bergen County teens are being called heroes for rescuing an 81-year-old Fair Lawn woman whose car became submerged by water in Glen Rock last Sunday. A volunteer firefighter also assisted in the rescue.
