Two members of the have been promoted to full member status, Fire Chief Thomas Jennings announced Monday.
John Thielke and Kevin Sellitt were promoted from probationary status, Jennings said in a news release.
“We are proud to have John Thielke and Kevin Sellitti advance in the department,” Jennings said. “They are two of Glen Rock’s true young heros. Full membership is achieved after having completed Fire 1 training at the Bergen County Fire Academy, and our company proficiency test,”

The Glen Rock force is all volunteer and is open to those who live within two miles of its borders.
