PJ Reed led a low scoring win as the only Bergen Catholic Crusader to hit double digits in a 74-37 romp over Paramus. While the majority of the squad was limited to single digits, the entire bench was strong from behind the arc to knock the Spartans down a peg. John Morella of Paramus led all scorers from both sides with a game-high 25 points.

The Golden Hawks stayed ahead of the curve with a 64-49 rout of Dwight Morrow this weekend as River Dell makes a push for the County Tournament. Tim Barnes led all scorers with 23 points but gaining on his scoring record is Sean Boland who has been averaging 16 points a game. The Hawks dropped a 56-52 decision to Ridgefield Park on Friday night after a slow first half start even though Barnes connected on 20 points.

Over at Felician College this weekend, River Dell struggled heavily against Ridgefield Park falling 49-29 after netting six points in the first half. The Bergen County second-seeded Emerson/Park Ridge wrestlers clashed on the mat with the Crusaders on Friday night and the top-ranked team from Bergen Catholic proved to a standing room only gymnasium that Bergen is the better team in their 39-19 victory. The Crusaders once again dominated in the upper weights, and Christian Jenco's 1-0 win at 195 lbs sealed the match following Johnny Sebastian's 34-second winning pin at 160 pounds and Alex Kruklinski's 9-5 win at 170 pounds.

Max Barnett rolled to a 624 high series during the Hawks 5-2 loss to Bergenfield on the bowling lanes. The girls were shut out 7-0 by the Bears.
