Charity Binds Students and Rotarians Together

Annual co-sponsored event between the River Dell Interact Club and Oradell-Emerson Rotary yielded an $1,144 donation

Giving back to the community ties the Interact Club and Oradell-Emerson Rotary Club together so much that the two groups combine each fall for their annual spaghetti dinner.

During Monday's River Dell Board of Education meeting, Rotarian Mark Dance presented Interact Club Co-President Chris Bascomb with a check for $1,144 as part of a share of net proceeds from the October dinner

"It is my understanding that Interact will use the funds to support their charity activities which is something that the Rotary Club is all about," Dance said.
