Week Ahead: River Edge Decides on School Election
Take a look at what else is coming up this week

The River Edge Board of Education will decide during Wednesday's 7:30pm meeting at Cherry Hill School whether or not they will move the school election from April to November and eliminate the public's ability to vote on the budget.
Over in Hackensack on Monday, the Bergen County Freeholders will have a public hearing on the County's Open Space Trust Fund at 6pm . As part of the hearing, Freeholder John Felice has proposed to not fund $500,000 towards the Waterworks rehabilitation project in Oradell.
Wednesday morning, several Bergen Catholic Crusaders will be inking their Letters of Intent to play athletics in college. The Crusaders ceremony is at 8am.

Games of the week include:
River Dell
- Bowling has a full week at Bowler City in Hackensack with Ramsey (Monday), Fort Lee (Wednesday) and Westwood (Friday) with the girls then taking part in the State Sectionals (Saturday). Regular season game times are at 4pm.
- Boys basketball faces Cliffside Park on Tuesday (away 6:30pm) and then Bergenfield on Thursday (home 7pm).
- The Lady Hawks are splitting a home-away series this week to Cliffside Park on Tuesday (home 4pm) and then Bergenfield on Thursday (away 7pm).
- Hockey is winding down with the Dumont Huskies coming to the Ice House on Saturday, 6:45pm.
- Indoor track heads into Manhattan for The Metropolitan relays on Wednesday, 4pm at the Armory Track Center.
- Wrestling could take the Patriot Division with a win on Wednesday over Bergenfield (away 7pm) and then looks to improve their state rankings against Old Tappan on Friday (away 7pm) and Pascack Hills on Saturday (away 11am).

- Bowling is home all week with Westwood (Monday), Paramus (Tuesday) and Passaic (Thursday) on the schedule. All games are at 4pm at Bowler City.
- On the court, the Crusaders are away on Tuesday to visit arch rival Don Bosco at 7pm. The team returns home to Oradell on Thursday, 7pm to face Kennedy.
- Indoor track heads into Manhattan for the Big North United Conference on Monday, 5pm at the Armory Track Center.
