5 Things You Need to Know Today: April 19

1. Clouds and Showers: Today is going to be cloudy with a high near 55 degrees. The National Weather Service is predicting a chance of showers, so make sure that you throw an umbrella in your bag. Tonight there will be a low in the 40's and the wind is expected to pick up to 13 mph.

2. An Egg-cellent Weekend in RFH: Hundreds of local residents celebrated the Spring and Easter season by attending the annual Easter Egg Hunts in Rumson and Fair Haven. Fair Haven's Annual Easter Egg Hunt on April 16 brought in nearly 200 children and brought the community closer together. 3. Celebrating Passover: Twelve preschoolers from the two-year-old class and their families, a total of thirty people, took part in the model Seder. It had all the makings of a real Seder dinner that Jewish families across the world will celebrate as part of Passover, which runs from April 18 to April 25 this year. 4. Whale of a Sale: The Rumson Country Day  School held its 42nd annual Whale of a Sale this weekend.  The sale is a testament to the school's commitment to the community as hundreds of people lined up outside the school from 7am on Saturday morning to be the first to access the bargains inside. All the items for sale were donated by current school families and alumni. Murchandise included clothing, toys, general house hold items and furniture, all available at greatly reduced prices. Click to watch a video about this fabulous event.

5. Story Time Tuesdays: Looking for something to do with you kids this Tuesday morning? Why not head over to one of the local libraries.
