1. 'Guna Be a Scorcher: According to the National Weather Service, today is going to be mostly sunny with a high near 89 degrees. There will be a north wind 6 to 8 mph becoming south. Tonight will be partly cloudy with a low around 72 degrees. Calm wind becoming west around 6 mph.

3. Kid Cop: Teens participating in Sheriff Youth Week, which was held July 11-15, spent their mornings completing drills, their afternoons in physical training, and received instruction from law enforcement professional throughout the day. The program is sponsored by the Monmouth County Sheriff's Office. The class of 2011 had students from over 30 towns including Fair Haven. Click to read more about this summer camp.
4. RFH in South Pacific: On July 13, Rumson’s Patty McCarron opened as Liat, Bloody Mary’s daughter, in South Pacific at the Axelrod Performing Arts Center and is once again performing opposite Austin Ryan a recent RFH graduate. They are far from the personas of the elderly Tevye and Golde, but they are portraying the young lovers with the same remarkable stage presence and talent that they exhibited in Fiddler on the Roof two years ago on their high school stage. 5. Movie Night: Looking for something fun and FREE to do with the family tonight? Head over to Fair Haven Fields to see The Wizzard of Oz starting at 8:45 p.m. while relaxing on beach chairs and blankets in the park. Sea Bright is also featuring a free movie tonight on the public beach behind the firehouse. Tonight's movie is The Karate Kid.
