Red Bank's second Dog Days of Summer was a sizzling hot hit — literally. Despite humid weather, many pups and their pals showed up on Monmouth Street Tuesday evening to get to know one another, do a little shopping and grab a bite. Well, one little teething pup up for adoption did just that. He took a gentle teething chomp on the hand of a girl who fell in love with him. And the little guy had many suitors. Mayor Pat Menna showed, but left his canine BFF Bella home due to the heat. Red Bank Veterinary Hospital's Dr. Anthony DeCarlo, a major sponsor of the event, showed up to mingle and enjoy. There was quite a canine array to see. Take a look at the photos above for a glimpse of the fun, four-legged evening.
