Classic Cars To Take Center Stage At Red Horse Movie Event, Rumson
At a free event next Tuesday in Rumson, you can admire some antique Sixties cars used in the local filming of "Miranda's Victim."

RUMSON, NJ — Two antique red Mustangs and 10 other classic cars, some used in filming "Miranda's Victim" in the area, are going on display at Red Horse by David Burke.
The event on June 6 is free and the public is welcome to view the cars and speak to the owners, many of whom doubled as extras in the film set in the mid 1960s. The cars will be on display from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Red Horse by David Burke, 26 Ridge Road.
Members of the Antique Motoring Club of Monmouth County helped the movie's production team in maintaining the historical accuracy of the film, aided by members' classic cars.

“Having a car in the movie was huge,” said Jack Torres, president of the Antique Motoring Club of Monmouth County. “But having a role as an extra made the experience so much more fulfilling."
Torres said he went to see the completed movie production in Tampa. "It was so thrilling to see my car on the big screen. The excitement exploded in the theater when my friends, club members, and I saw me on the big screen - an experience of a lifetime for our club members seeing so many member’s cars on the big screen.”
Those who want to dine at Red Horse that evening are encouraged to make their dinner reservations now to ensure a table. Reserve online at www.redhorsebydb.com or call 732-546-3400.
Among his philanthropic endeavors, Kolber - owner of Navesink River Productions that produced "Miranda’s Victim," is currently serving on the Board of Trustees at Monmouth University and is actively engaged in promoting Holocaust and genocide awareness.
Kolber also co-authored with his brother, Charles Kolber, "Thrown Upon The World," (Archway Publishing, June 2018) a story about their family's escape to Shanghai during WWII, the trauma of postwar survival in refugee camps and the challenges of getting to the United States.
