• Fair Haven school officials have recognized custodians for their oftentimes unrecognized work. Do you have some favorite memories of custodians helping you out in school? Any favorites. I know there have been a few who stand out in people's minds. Tell us about it.

• The county's gun buyback program was a hit in Rumson this year. It was a first. Can you guess why Rumson brought in more guns than Asbury Park. Rumson Police Chief Scott Paterson sheds some light.

• Condolences to the family and many friends of Eugene Tate, the RFH grad and Sea Bright postal worker who was known as an all-around good natured guy. RIP Eugene. There is a service for him tonight at 6:30 p.m.
