Crime Nearby: Stolen iPod, Cell Phone and a Bubbly Bar Theft

The following incidents occurred between April 25 and May 3 in the Red Bank area and were reported by the Red Bank police:

• A burglary was reported at a River Street residence on April 25. The victim reported that unknown person(s) pried the back door open, gained entry and stole a 42-inch flat screen Sony television. Patrolman Jorge Torres took the report.

• A theft was reported on April 28 at Hubbard Park. The victim reported that unknown person(s) allegedly stole an electric scooter from the residence's driveway. Patrolman David Smith took the report.

• A shoplifting was reported on April 29 at a Water Street drug store. An employee reported that an unknown male shoplifted a bottle of cologne and left store without paying for it. Patrolman Michael Zadlock took the report.

• A theft was reported between April 27 and 28 on Central Avenue. The victim reported that her car had been towed and when she went to retrieve the vehicle, her T Mobile cell phone, which had been left inside, was allegedly missing. Lt. Michael Clay took the report.

• A theft was reported on April 29 at an East Newman Springs Road car rental agency. The victim reported that after renting a car and dropping it off, she realized that an iPod had been left inside the vehicle. Upon trying to retrieve it, she said it was missing. Lt. Joshua Berbrick took the report.

• Criminal mischief was reported on May 2 in the area of Mechanic Street and Globe Court. The victim reported that unknown person(s) allegedly threw several eggs at a parked vehicle. Patrolman Michael Zadlock took the report.

• A theft was reported at a Bridge Avenue restaurant/bar on May 3. The victim reported that a group of male subjects sitting in the bar area allegedly reached over and grabbed two bottles of champagne and left the establishment without paying it. Patrolman Michael Zadlock took the report.
