
David Padnes, 66, died at his Fair Haven home on Saturday, May 4, surrounded by family.
A 35-year Fair Haven resident, David was a native of the Bronx, NY, who was a patent attorney for Lucent Technologies for most of his career — 31 years — and also was an attorney with Gibbons Law Firm.
David was known to spend his free time lending a hand to others, working on cars and being a handyman around the hosue.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Padnes, of Fair Haven; three children, Michael Padnes, of Jersey City, Kevin Padnes and wife Lisa and son Colin John, of Fair Haven, and Kimberly Padnes, of Hoboken; and a brother, Steven Padnes, of Glenside, Pa.
A service will held at 1 p.m. on Monday, May 6, at Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Ocean Township.

Interment will follow at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Woodbridge. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Lustgarten Foundation www.lustgarten.org
