It's what's going on in the Rumson-Fair Haven area on Tuesday.

And, here are some sun and moon tidbits from www.tides4fishing.com:
"Today we begin the day with the moon already visible in the sky, so first we will see the moonset, which will take place at 11:59 am at 295º northwest.
"Eventually, the moon will rise again in the northeast (65º) at 10:04 p.m. … The lunar phase is a Waning Gibbous. Today we will have 12 hours and 2 minutes of sun. The solar transit will be at 12:48 pm and the length of time the moon will be visible will be 13 hours and 55 minutes."
Around the towns …
• Dog Days of Summer, or shall we say fall, is tonight on Monmouth Street in Red Bank. Bring your pooch, peruse and socialize with other pets and pet owners.
• Rumson Mayor and Council meets tonight at 7:30 p.m. at Borough Hall on River Road.
• It's Burger Night at the Fromagerie in Rumson and Baja Tuesdays at Woody's in Sea Bright.
Our condolences go out to the friends, family and colleagues of Red Bank Police Chief Steve McCarthy, who lost his battle with cancer yesterday at 50 — a tremendous loss to the community. RIP Chief.
If we've forgotten anything, let us know. In the meantime, I'll see you around the towns …
