Fair Haven GOP, Democrat Win; Rumson Republicans Sweep

Here are the election results as of 11:00 p.m.
In Fair Haven, current mayor Benjamin J. Lucarelli is running uncontested for reelection, while for Borough Council, there are two seats up for election. The candidates are Republicans Jerome A. Koch and Susan Sorensen, and Democrat Aimee Humphreys. Results show Sorensen and Humphries winning with 37 and 33 percent of the vote, respectively.
For election as a member of the Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School Board of Education, Charles R. Volker is listed on the ballot. For the Fair Haven Board of Education election, there are three seats available with the candidates being Jessica Patel, Jennifer Halcrow, Karen Saad, and Bruce Padula. Results show Halcrow, Saad, and Padula winning.

There are two seats up for election for Rumson Borough Council. The Republican candidates are Shaun P. Broderick and Benjamin W. Day, Jr., as well as Democrat Michael Steinhorn. For Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School Board of Education Member, there are two seats up for election, and three candidates: Lisa Waters, Valerie Ferrante, and Anne Marie McGinty. For the Rumson Board of Education, there are three candidates listed for the three seats available: Maura Beyer, Colleen O’Connor, and Kim Swain. Broderick and Day won with 40 and 42 percent of the vote, respectively;
