Jump Start Your Spring Exercise Routine with Fitness in the Park

Tinton Falls-based fitness team takes their spring training classes on the road.

The Tinton Falls-based OutdoorFit has traveled to Fair Haven Fields to show residents that working out can be fun and enjoyable with a two-week outdoor fitness program.

The OutdoorFit  Fitness in the Park classes consist of a combination of resistance training and cardio exercise. They are designed by trainers Mary Kiningham and Christa Lippert in a way that intermittently increases the heart rate.  Weights are used in combination with full body exercises like, push ups, squats and burpees.  Trainers can modify the classes where necessary and use different variations of the exercises to appropriately challenge those at all fitness levels.

Each session is 75-minutes long, comprised of a 15-minute check-in period followed by a 60-minute full body workout.
