LoPresti and New York doctor Hassan Lahham have been charged with illegally writing over 6,000 prescriptions for over 500,000 oxycodone tablets between Jan. 2009 and Dec. 2010. Patients were not required to fill out paperwork at LoPresti's office, and payments were accepted in cash, according to the criminal complaint. LoPresti also allegedly delivered prescriptions to a codefendant at a rest stop on the Garden State Parkway.
