Community support needed for chance to win grant and save more lives.

There is less than one week left to vote for the Monmouth County SPCA (MCSPCA) in the qualifying heat of this year's ASPCA $100K Challenge. Local shelters are competing in this competition for grants totaling $300,000.

“We are asking our loyal supporters to sign up for reminders to vote every day,” said Kelly Hogan, MCSPCA Social Media Coordinator.

The 2011 ASPCA $100K Challenge is a nationwide competition that is aimed at getting more animals adopted or returned to their owners than ever before. The first phase of the competition is the qualifying heat where registered shelters compete to accumulate the most online votes from their supporters.
