Hydrant Flushing Will Affect Fair Haven Streets

Select Fair Haven streets will be affected later this week when Red Bank Public Works flushes their hydrants.

In a Fair Haven email blast, residents learned that the Borough of Red Bank Public Works will be flushing their fire hydrants this week. According to the email, the flushing will take place in the overnight hours between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m. this Thursday or Friday night. The streets that will be affected are Cambridge Avenue, Princeton Avenue, and Lake Avenue.

The email also warned residents that during the flushing, it is possible that there will be a temporary drop in water pressure or a slight discoloration. If discoloration does occur, Red Bank Public Works suggests running the tap water until it comes out clear.
