Rumson-Fair Haven Wins First-Ever Field Hockey Shore Conference Championship

Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School topped Shore Regional for their first-ever Shore Conference Championship in field hockey.

On Sunday, the top-seeded Bulldogs made Rumson and Fair Haven proud by bringing home a win over the second-seeded Blue Devils of Shore Regional High School.

With a score of 2-0, this was the first-ever Shore Conference Championship in field hockey for Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School, according to the Asbury Park Press. Shore Regional have been a force to reckon with all season; in fact, Sunday’s loss was the first time they have gone scoreless throughout the entire 2014 season.

Senior Peyton McCauley made both scores for the Bulldogs, ensuring her name is now written into the books for the high school’s well-deserved first championship.
