The beach in Sea Bright is a local summer paradise to some.
The crowds are gone. The weather is mild. But the seagulls are still in town and they're mighty hungry, deprived of all those tourists' leftovers.
So, the lesson learned is that when you decide to take advantage of some solace and quality, end-of-summer beach time after a long, busy week of work, don't let your early dinner bag of chips get blown away by a gust of wind — unless you feel like being the star of a remake of Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds.
