Whiz Kid's Key to Awesomeness: Peyton is a thoughtful, kind, considerate,caring, honest and loving child. "Even if others are unkind, she still shows them kindness," says her mother. 

Peyton has a natural gift for drawing fashions and hopes to attend F.I.T. in Manhatten when she graduates from High School. She has many talents, but her mother feels that it is her big heart that makes her stand out.

"I have met plenty of children with good grades or skills who are disprespectful and have poor behavior," says Ellen Barton, Peyton's mother. "I think that children should be acknowledged for their good and respectful behavior, as they will make good parents and good citizens for their community and country as well."

Although Peyton is kind often, there is one specific example that her mother holds in her heart. "My 94 year old grandmother, her great grandmother, was in the last weeks of her life and understandably not so happy," explained Ellen. "My grandmother had an electric medical recliner, so Peyton said, 'Nana move over, we're going for a ride!' and she sat on the recliner with her and used the remote control to recline and sit the chair up continually as if they were in a rocking chair.  My Grandmother never had so much fun in the prior ten years of her life!"
