SECAUCUS, NJ — In September, Secaucus Police received information that a “courier” was picking up cash proceeds from prostitution at Secaucus hotels.

The Secaucus Police Anti-Crime Unit, under the supervision of Detective Sergeant Matthew Ford, launched an investigation that month. For the past five months, Secaucus Police said they did surveillance at motels in town and identified Roldan Jiimenez-Rodriguez, 41, of Paterson, as the courier.

Secaucus Police officers said they watched him as he stopped at various hotels/motels in Secaucus, along with others in Bergen and Middlesex counties. He would meet with prostitutes at the hotels/motels, collect cash from them and then deposit the illegal gains into a bank in Paterson. He would then electronically disburse the cash.
