On Jan. 22 at 10:00 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 34-year-old female of Jersey City, NJ for 2 outstanding warrants issued out of Jersey City, NJ in the amount of $1,250. She was also charged with Exhibiting a Fraudulent Insurance Card [2C:21-2.3B]. She was issued her complaint summons along with 4 motor vehicle summonses. She was unable to post bail for the outstanding warrants issued out of Jersey City, NJ and was subsequently transported to the Jersey City Police Department.

On Jan. 22 at 1:57 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Kohl’s on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 30-year-old male of Newark, NJ along with a 60-year-old female of Newark, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)] and Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting [2C:5-2A(2)]. Both were issued their complaint summonses and were released from police custody.

On Jan. 22 at 7:30 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Walmart on a report of a shoplifting. Police arrested a 43-year-old male of West New York, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)], Possession of False Government Documents [2C:21-2.1D] and Credit Card Theft [2C:21-6C(1)]. He was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On Jan. 23 at 11:17 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Livingston Police Department to take into custody a 24-year-old male of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $750. He was unable to post bail for the involved warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On Jan. 24 at 4:09 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to 901 Castle Road on a report of a motor vehicle crash. During the investigation, the police arrested a 55-year-old male of Campbell Hall, NY for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. He was issued his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with an additional 2 motor vehicle summonses and he was released into the custody of a responsible adult.

On Jan. 24 at 12:40 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 26-year-old male of West New York, NJ for Tampering with Public Records [2C:28-7A(3)] for possessing on his motor vehicle an electric license plate cover that concealed the license plate from public view. He was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
