Secaucus Police Blotter, Jan. 27 - Feb. 2

A 15-year-old boy was taken into police custody after making a threat last Thursday.

SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police, all of last week's arrests:

On Jan. 30 at 12:58 p.m., the Secaucus Police Department Detective Division responded to Secaucus High School on a report of an individual who had received a terroristic threat. During the investigation, police arrested a 15-year-old juvenile male of Secaucus, NJ for Terroristic Threats [2C:12-3A] and Conspiracy to commit Terroristic Threats [2C:5-2A(1)]. He was arrested at Secaucus Police headquarters. The juvenile male was issued his juvenile complaint summons and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.

On Jan. 31 at 9:02 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Shake Shack located at 700 Plaza Drive on a report of a patron who was threatening individuals in the establishment. Police arrested a 35-year-old male of Garfield, NJ for Terroristic Threats [2C:12-3A]. He was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On Feb. 2 at 1:14 a.m., officers from the West New York Police Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters to transfer custody of a 32-year-old male of Las Vegas, NV for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $600. This same man was found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Garfield, NJ in the amount of $1,000 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Weehawken, NJ in the amount of $250. He was able to post bail for the outstanding warrants issued out of Secaucus and Garfield. Weehawken did release him on his own recognizance pending a future court date and he was released from police custody.

On Feb. 2 at 8:46 a.m., Secaucus Police received information of a motor vehicle that was driving erratically. The involved vehicle was found stopped on the roadway in the area of 1234 Paterson Plank Road. During the investigation, the police arrested a 23-year-old male of Passaic, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. He was issued his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with an additional eight motor vehicle summonses and he was released into the custody of a responsible adult.

On Feb. 2 at 2:42 p.m., officers from the Irvington Police Department responded to Secaucus Police headquarters to transfer custody of a 43-year-old male of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus in the amount of $1,000. He was unable to post bail for the involved warrants and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
