SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police, all of last week's arrests:

On Jan. 6 at 8:29 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Exxon gas station located at 445 Rt. 3 West on a report of a motor vehicle crash. During the investigation, the police arrested a 62-year-old male of Flanders, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. He was issued his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with 3 additional motor vehicle summonses and he was released into the custody of a responsible adult.

On Jan. 6 at 4:03 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Somerset County Jail to take into custody a 34-year-old male of Brooklyn, NY for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $750. He was unable to post bail for the involved warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On Jan. 7 at 10:20 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 28-year-old female of Paterson, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Fair Lawn, NJ in the amount of $750. She was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Elmwood Park, NJ in the amount of $500 with a 10% option along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Wayne, NJ in the amount of $500 with a 10% option. Fair Lawn along with Elmwood and Wayne PDs did release her on her own recognizance pending future court dates. She was issued 5 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On Jan. 9 at 3:57 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 21-year-old male of Newark, NJ for 2 outstanding warrants issued out of East Orange, NJ in the amount of $1,500 with a 10% option along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $50. He was released on his own recognizance in relation to the warrants issued out of East Orange, NJ and Secaucus. He was issued 5 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On Jan. 10 at 3:59 p.m., in relation to a burglary into a wheel loader at 1 Emerson Drive in October of 2024, Secaucus Police conducted a motor vehicle stop of a vehicle believed to be involved in the burglary in Jersey City, NJ. During the motor vehicle stop, the police arrested a 42-year-old male, Carlos Ruiz-Rubio of North Bergen, NJ for Burglary [2C:18-2A(1)], Criminal Mischief [2C:17-3A(1)] and Criminal Attempt of Theft [2C:5-1A(1)]. Mr. Ruiz-Rubio was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.
